One of the symptoms of PCOS is difficulty losing weight. When you add insulin resistence to that, it's even more of a pain. So, there are a lot of things that I have to do to try to keep myself "on track." I have to watch my carbs/sugar, get more protein, take certain supplements/vitamins, and exercise regularly. In layman's terms, I have to get healthier. Now, I am not one of those people who can completely give up any one thing when it comes to food. I cannot give up carbs; I cannot give up gluten; I cannot give up dairy; I cannot give up sweets. However, I am slowly replacing bad habits with good ones, but that is OK with me, because it's better to make small changes than none at all.
